We know it’s easy to give in and just buy some craft sticks from a store. After all, there are all those awesome popsicle stick / craft stick crafts around the web! We have been that road too. 🙂 Our suggestion is, if you don’t have any popsicle sticks at hand, cut some sturdy cardboard, you already have laying around. And next summer season, don’t forget to make a stash of actual popsicle sticks! PS. It’s fun and really cool task for kids!

Paper Plates Make Fun Autumn Projects
Paper plate crafts are so easily adapted for different ages of children. For toddlers, prepare all in advance and turn it into a little craft kit. Preschoolers and older kids who can use scissors on their own can easily put together these crafts by themselves. Additional tip: If you don’t have any paper plates around, and wouldn’t want to purchase new set for crafts (something we encourage completely!), use a piece of sturdy cardboard box to create a flat plate, as most of these crafts can be created in this way!
