It’s one of our family traditions to put together with kids Christmas advent calendar and this year we have decided to create 24 Christmas cards during 4 weeks of advent and turn them into a new Christmas keepsake. We have this idea to add Christmas countdown activities and pictures from kids working on them into these cards, bind it and turn it into a little Christmas book / scrapbook! We’ll repost how it turned out between Christmas and New Year and we are inviting you all to stop by and check how it turned out! |

To make this advent calendar, we used some basic things like colored cardstock, wooden clothespins (glued little stars we had from previous years), string to hangs the cards and we printed countdown numbers from haatse.com. In our home these are hang on big board we made for girls earlier but I guess you can hang it where ever you have space in your home.
Lightning was pretty poor by the time we have put this up today, but you can see how we set this calendar countdown on the image bellow.
We are updating list of Christmas cards as we make them here.
