If you’re like me, you catch yourself thinking how time flies by so fast and, from time to time, regret that you didn’t record all those small things your children did or said while they were little. I can’t even tell you how many times, over and over, I thought about journaling or creating the diary to capture those memories! And failed! Ugh!
So, this year I bought Q&A a Day for Kids: A Three-Year Journal to record change my 4-year-old will experience in next 3 years. Love it! And because I do, I want to share the love with all of you who followed our blog in past year! At the bottom of this page, you will find a form to enter to win a set of 2 Q & A a Day Journals – one for mom and one for your kiddo!

When I bought Q&A a Day for Kids: A Three-Year Journal, I really didn’t think it through and didn’t know what to expect. However, I was pleasently surprised! This journal has very durable, thick cover and I’m sure it will last long after it’s filled. It has many prompts where you can get to know a child and how he / she sees the world around them like:
- Do you like to play with one person or lots of people?
- How do you feel about sitting still in school?
- What do you get to do at someone else’s house that you wish you could at your own?
- Who is the silliest person you know? Why?
And there are some creative questions like:
- Do you believe in aliens? Explain.
- If you buried a treasure chest, what would be in it?
- If you were a dog, what kind you would be?
If, like me, you have a child who doesn’t attend school and can’t write, you will have to tweak questions that relate to school and you will have to write the answers for them.
I find that the best time to ask these questions is either over a dinner or at bed time, when we read stories and talk a little before kissing good night.
OK, now, who wants to win
Q&A a Day for Kids: A Three-Year Journal
AND
Q&A a Day for Moms: A 5-Year Journal???
